Sara Evans had only one ambition in her life: to sing and write country songs. "God placed me on the planet to become an artist," said Evans, in a quote by John Meroney of American Enterprise. "It is something I love doing the most which is why I'm bound to succeed." Evans was determined to make it big by re-introducing the classic country music that was popularized by Patsy Cline. Hank Snow. Tammy Wynette. George Jones. And Patty Loveless. These musicians Evans regarded as her biggest sources of inspiration. In the latter part of 1990, at a time when the majority of aspiring country artists turned their attention to more contemporary songs that were radio-friendly, Evans was able to make her mark with her country music that drew inspiration from the past, exemplified by her debut album from 1997, True Lies. However, despite the critical acclaim and a nomination from the Academy of Country Music in 1998 as the most promising female singer, True Lies made little impression. Evans was released with her second album was in the year 1999. No Place That Far was a result of bowing before producers, who persuaded that she should expand her repertoire. Finally, she received the recognition that she has always wanted since her childhood. Sara Evans, born on the 5th of February, 1971 in Columbia Missouri and is a singer and songwriter from America. Sara Evans spent her early childhood with her brothers and sisters.
